MANGALAM TTI - INCEPTION

Mangalam Teacher Training Institute, Thirumullaivoyal was established on 12th December’2005 with 50 students and 5 Lecturers for the benefit of the residents of Thirumullaivoyal and neighbourhood.And now the institute has a strength of 100 students. It is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE] Recog. No. Aps 03788/FTN/ELE/SRO/NCTE/2005-06/3674.

TRUST

Victory Education Trust has been established with a social ideal in the age of globalization. It is to provide quality education to all the lower and middle class with a moderate charge. It is to give a winning edge to the local boys and girls. More- over it has a great master plan for the future. It envisages a huge conglomeration of Arts and Science colleges, Engineering and Medical Institutions and many job- oriented courses. It should be a complete human – resource development sector. Already a noteworthy beginning has been made successfully. It has established a well- run Sri Venkateshwara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, charging moderately but achieving greatly.

Mangalam TTI is well furnished with all aspects of infrastructure. This teacher training institute is equipped with Laboratories for

5. Computer and it has spacious library with plenty of books.

Infrastructure means the basic systems and services that are necessary for an institution to run smoothly.

a) Building Location :

Mangalam Teacher Training Institute is located in between Avadi and Ambattur near Chennai. Lush Green beautiful, Pollution free well developed land of three acres. Building plinth area is 9200 squire feet. It is linked with main Road and rail transport. More than 18400 Sq. ft. RCC building is constructed.

b) Facilities:

Mangalam Teacher Training is located in a calm and pleasant atmosphere which is mainly essential for effective learning purpose. It is surrounded by tree studded campus and attractive gardens which give cool and pure air and well sun – shine. It has its own playground which covers an area of 2 ½ acres. All the four sides are laid with compound walls that give complete safety. There are no chances for intruders.

COURSE

1. DURATION : The teacher – training course will be for two years.

2. AGE LIMIT : The applicant should have completed 17 years of age and not exceeded 30 years as on 31.07.2005. 5 Years relaxation is given for SC/ST and physically handicapped. Widows and orphans will get 10 years age relaxation.

3. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION : Minimum qualification is a pass in 12thStd with 45% of marks and for SC/ST candidates pass in +2 is sufficient.
